Babylon Scholarship Program sponsored by Babylon Group held

For the tenth time, Babylon Group, one of the top IT Group of Companies of the country, Babylon Resource Babylon Group, has distributed scholarships among underprivileged talented students. Bangladeshi thinker and writer Salimullah Khan was the chief guest at the 'Babylon Scholarship Program' held at the corporate office in Mirpur on January 11 and literary enthusiast Elahi Dad Khan was present as the special guest.

Babylon Group Chief Executive Officer Arif Bhuiyan presided over the event.

It was informed on the occasion that this scholarship program is not only a part-time initiative, Babylon Group has been regularly supervising the scholarship recipient students to help reach the threshold of success. Today, many of the scholarship recipient students are working at various prestigious positions including BUET teachers, doctors, naval engineers, university teachers. In 2008 the journey started with 28 people, in 2024 that number exceeded 700 people. A total of 41 students will be given this scholarship this year, which they will receive in four installments during their higher secondary studies.

Chief guest Salimullah Khan said that investment in education is the best investment of a nation, country and family. This investment on Babylon's part is also the best investment, there is no profit here but the priceless profit is helping to create some educated people.

Special guest Elahi Dad Khan said that education is not an opportunity but education is a right. He congratulated the students who have achieved this right with merit and advised them to continue this success.

President of the program Arif Bhuiyan congratulated all the students who received the scholarship and advised them to study well and become good people. He said that among the scholarship achieving students, those who can sustain success, should extend such support to others in the future.
